I'm an e-commerce content and merchandising strategist, and I also have significant SEO experience.
Specialties: content strategy, merchandising, ecommerce, SEO
I managed the merchandising and content team for an e-commerce consulting company. It was a very fun, very busy gig. When I left Chicago for California in summer 2012, I transitioned into a search marketing role.
Highlights include driving SEO revenue up by nearly 200% in a five-month period for my category, creating tools to make site content and campaigns more efficient to upload, launching Gibson and Zildjian brands, executing efforts for more than 80 marketing partnerships, and listening to Stevie Wonder perform live 10 feet away on a warm California night.
While working with one constant team, I managed a variety of marketing communication campaign efforts for several political organizations. Highlights include taking care of public relations efforts for 7 simultaneous state-wide political campaigns, creating the content for a 16-page activist handbook, and revamping email newsletter and radio program strategies.
This was a fun part-time job (25 hours a week) that I held during my senior year in college. I was responsible for maintaining the website, sending e-newsletters, and implementing online projects.
